FCA Speed and Agility Training
Helps an athlete reach their maximum speed potential by increasing explosive strength or improving speed endurance. Speed training exercises include sprinting, resisted sprinting, plyometric jumps,
Agility training
Helps an athlete quickly change direction without losing speed, balance, coordination, strength, or body control. Agility training exercises include side shuffles, carioca sideways running, lateral ladders, linear runs, lateral low hurdle runs, agility balls, cone drills, and high knees. Agility drills can also involve dribbling a soccer ball while running through cones, jumping over hurdles, or doing handstands against a wall. 
Speed and agility training can help athletes run faster, jump higher, and improve their cardio. It can also be especially important for sports like lacrosse, football or soccer, where the ability to change direction quickly is crucial.
The reason for FCA SunCoast training is not just to train athletes. (Although we have a lot of fun doing that!) We care about the whole person. Young people need to be mentally tough to face life's challenges.

We believe that thriving athletes focus on developing their mind, their body, and soul. At FCA SunCoast we train in all three dimensions.
